review: honeymoon at Cameron Highlands #1

Ni la trip yang I dok tunggu-tunggu selama berkenalan dengan encik kesayangan ni. Almaklum, tak pernah dapat holiday sama-sama kan sebelum ni. Dengan excitednya, terus booking hotel untuk hari selepas bersanding, dari 9-11 January 2012.



Journey from Shah Alam to Cameron took us around 4 hours. Long stop at Tapah R&R for some refreshment and solat. Besides, we drove my small Viva (because I only good in driving auto haha so we can always switch the driver) make it quite lembap nak pecut pun segan hihi.



Our resort - Cameron Highlands Resort (CHR) is a bit tricky to locate (for us). My fault, I was busy 'whatssapp' with friends till we missed the resort. We had to patah balik around 2km after we both lost the resort that actually just beside the road and adjacent to the golf course.



Upon arrival, we were greeted with hot tea and warm towel. Check in was indeed smooth. The Japanesse staff, Takashi took us to our room and friendly enough to make a short tour around the resort and even explained what is inside our room. They made us felt so welcomed.



We stayed at the cheapest room - the deluxe room. Surprisingly, they decorated the poster bed with honeymoon decoration. A basket of fruit was ready on the coffee table and the mini fridge was full with soft drinks. I was so excited as I did not request for any honeymoon package. The room is cold enough with natural air conditioned, clean and tidy but without bath tub and a bit small compared to other deluxe room hotel. Anyhow, we just felt glad with the ambience. Romantic enough for a short gateway.







At 7pm, we were requested to be at the lobby for a special ceremony. It was actually a part of hotel tradition for the new guest to make a wish at the fireplace lightning. The table was reserved for us and we were served with a strawberry sparkling juice. Nyums.







After that, we just spent our time in the room. I was already dozed off when I realized we don't plan for dinner yet. So, I cooked a special hot cup maggi mee for beloved husband, compliment with the fresh fruit. Hihi. Pemalas betul nak keluar bilik.
